Verna L. Johnson

Age 96, formerly of Mt. Washington, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Northview Estates in Ellwood City. She was the daughter of the late Roy H. and Verna Nusser; wife of 59 years to the late Floyd Johnson, Sr. who passed away in 2007; loving mother of James (Mary Ann) Johnson and the late Floyd (survived by Donna) Johnson, Jr.; grandmother of Stephen (Cindy) Johnson, Heather (Ray) Campbell, Melissa (Randy) Albin and Pamela (Dorian) Baldwin; great-grandmother of Raven, Brendan, Cheyenne, Wyatt, Camden, Nevaeh, Janay, Ava, Amaya, Raymond, Makai and Presleigh; sister of the late Roy D. and sister-in-law, the late, Patricia Nusser; mother-in-law of Susan Johnson and Shirley Beck; also survived by family and friends. Verna worked at Mellon Bank. She was an avid bingo player, loved to do word searches, go on bus trips, and loved her cats. She was a member of the Fair Haven United Methodist Church and Haven Heights Methodist Church in Mt. Washington. Visitations on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.  214 Virginia Ave. Mt. Washington (412 381-2323), where a Funeral Service, officiated by Rev.
