Vera "Sis" Grousosky (McGough)

Age 88, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Philadelphia. Born May 19, 1928, to Louis and Stella McGough, she is survived by daughter Linda (Shlomo) Antika, and sons Dennis (Stephen Kroll) and David (Janet).  She was preceded in death by sisters Marie (Nolte), Florence (Stasa), Mildred (Humphrey), and Norma (Jordan), and brothers John and Louis “Bo.” She will be dearly missed by her niece and devoted friend Darlene “DJ” Taylor. Known as “Sis” or Aunt Sissy” to her nieces and nephews, she retired after many years as a supervisor at Clark Candy and was a long-time resident of Boynton Beach, Florida before returning to Pennsylvania in 2012.
