Age 92, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017;   He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary (O’Sullivan); adored children Maureen (Ronald) Meisberger and John (Nancy) Joyce; cherished grandchildren Ryan (Casey) Meisberger of Bury St Edmunds, England, Sean Meisberger of Dallas, TX and Janessa (Jacob) Horner of Charlotte, NC; and much loved nieces and nephews.  Tom was born in December, 1924 to the late John and Mary (McGranor) and is preceded in death by brothers John, James and Raymond and sister, Eileen (Wagner).  Tom retired as a Lieutenant from the Pittsburgh Police Department in 1989 and served his country in WWII as a member of the Army Air Corps.  He enjoyed numerous trips to Ireland, world travel and meeting new people, especially police men and women.  He loved a good joke, stories of Ireland and gatherings with family.Visitations on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.  214 Virginia Ave, Mt. Washington (412-381-2323).  Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Mount Church on Friday at 11:30 a.m. immediately followed by Military Honors by VFW Post 5111.
