Sean T. Pollock


Sean Thomas Pollock, was born to the late Lee Davis Pollock and Renai Sharpe Pollock, on Wednesday, July 21, 1965, in the Coaldale State Hospital, Coaldale, PA. Sean died suddenly on Thursday, February 10, 2022,  in the home he shared with his beloved life partner, Erin McGlynn, and her Mother, Barbara McGlynn. Erin's brother, Sean will be joining in a memorial service for Sean. Sean's much loved pet dogs, Jackson, Ada, Eliot, and Isabel are among the many friends, neighbors, and co-workers who are mourning his loss. 

Survivors include Sean's Mother, Renai Sharpe Holland and husband Ralph; Sean's sister Megan Pollock Andersen and husband Bruce and children Olivia, Alana, and Cole; half brothers Lee Pollock and Beau Pollock; step brother Robert Ashley Holland and wife Tracy, step sister Polly Lenoir Holland Higgins and husband Timothy;  Sean's Uncle Thomas and Aunt Nan Pollock and their children, Dr. Thomas Pollock and wife Jessica with children, Thomas Henry, Owen, and Zoe;  Kimara Pollock Hutton and husband David and their children, Lily and Maya;  Aunt Judith Pollock Pavlik and Uncle Eugene and their children:  Jane Pavlik Garrison and husband Brian with Conner and Caroline;  EJ and Jeannemarie Pavlik and son Evan. Uncle Daryl Sharpe and wife Lisa and son Jared;  Uncle Kieran J. Sharpe III and wife Barbara Moose and their sons, Gregory and wife Laura and Timothy and wife Chrissy; Sean's aunt the late Constance Sharpe Caldonetti and Uncle Tony and their daughter Charyl Ann Caldonetti Tracy and daughters, Angela and Lauren Tracy;  son AJ Caldonetti and wife Lindsay and daughter Mia; and much loved "Uncle" Bobby Silver.

Sean attended Emmaus schools K through 10th year then attended Wallingford High School before transferring to and graduating from Perkiomen Prep School in Pennsburg, Pa.  Sean studied at Lehigh County Community College. While enrolled there, he completed an internship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He went on to Les Roches Hotel and Restaurant Management school in Blucher, Switzerland, and on returning to the US, he continued business education at Appalachian State University, Boone, NC.

Sean was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved swimming, water skiing, and snow skiing / boarding. He especially loved fishing, hiking, and camping with Erin and their pets. He was a very talented professional photographer who captured the beauty of sunrises and sunsets and landscapes. He also caught the actions of skiers and snowboarders at local ski resorts. And among his favorite subjects was capturing the beauty and heart and soul of pets, whether in still life or inaction.

Sean will be missed, but most assuredly, he will continue to be in the hearts of everyone who had his company's good fortune. Remembering his laughter and love for all his friends and family will always be with us.
