Ro’Mya Ann Mi’kayla Shields, also known as Mya, was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 10, 2023. She unexpectedly was given her wings on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Ro’Mya was full of life. She loved music and she loved to dance. Her favorite song was baby shark. She would just walk around the house and sing “daddy shark do doo do” Ro’Mya had so much love to give but she also tested people’s energy especially when she did not know you. She gave people her natural, “mean mug.”

Ro’Mya is the beloved daughter of Rayson Shields and Phantashia Kennedy; cherished sister of Leon Evans, Jr., Amaziah Kennedy and Rayson Shields; granddaughter of Veronique Williams and the late Pauline and Raymond McCarthy; niece of Raymond, Felicia, Raynell, Shawn, Ross, DeAndre, Damon, India, Latisha, Tyree, Anthony and the late Romeka and Marese “Heme”; goddaughter of Stephan and Brittany; also survived by many cousins and loving family.

Friends and family received on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 12-2 p.m. at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. 214 Virginia Ave. Mt. Washington (412-381-2323), where a Private Service will be held for the family at 2 pm.   www.bruscofalvo.com
