Age 68, of Mt. Washington, on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Cynthia A. (Szarmack) Donovan; loving father of Richard J. Donovan (Diana); grandfather of Mia Catherine and Nina Elizabeth Donovan; brother of Kenneth (Linda) Donovan; brother-in-law of Kathy S. Johnston; uncle of Sharon (David) Andreas, Jennifer (Ryan) Mancuso, Michael (Megan) Donovan, and Alexandra Johnston; also survived by great - nieces and nephews, family and friends; and his loyal companion, his labrador, Donovan. Richard worked as a lineman for Duquesne Light for 45 years, until retiring in 2019. Visitations on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.    214 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington (412 381-2323). Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Mount Church/Mary, Queen of Peace Parish on Monday at 10 am.
