She belonged to St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church where she also served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Stanley A. Haduch and her son Stanley P. Although she never had an official career, Phyllis lived life to the fullest in various roles: As a proud member of the Tri-Rivers Clown Troupe she brought smiles and laughter to children. As a participant in the City of Pittsburgh Senior Games she consistently won medals, often placing first in her age group well into her 90s at the local, state, and national levels. Phyllis was also active in local politics and served as a greeter for voters at the polls on election days.  Most recently she was proud to be profiled in the book HIDDEN HEROES OF SOUTH HILLS HIGH SCHOOL by Janice Parker “as a person who fulfilled their purpose.”
