Nellie (Garforth) Orlando

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, our beautiful beloved Mother and Grandmother, Nellie Garforth Orlando of Mt. Washington passed away at the age of 88.  She is survived by her daughters Leslie Kress and Lisa Orlando, her one and only Granddaughter, Lindsay Kress and her brother-in-law Ken Cole.  Preceded in death by her spouse Anthony (Tony) Orlando, her parents, Laura and Bill Garforth, sisters Laura Mae (David) Lucas, Betty (Buddy) Salera, Lois (Buddy) Fuchs and Joan Cole.  Also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tracey Mozeyko who has become like family to us. With her love and support, we were able to care for our dear Mother in the comfort of her home until her passing. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of Peace Parish/St. Mary of the Mount Church at 11:30 am, on Saturday, July 30, 2022. There will be no visitation and interment will be private to immediate family only.
