Age 94, of Beechview, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ethel (Diethorn) Del Percio. Loving father of Diane (Roger) Sacco and Melio (Vikki) Del Percio; grandfather of Toni Ann (Tony Traci) and Michael Sacco, William Zbozny-Del Percio, Elysa (Joe) Folino and Jez (AleÇ Donaldson) Zbozny-Del Percio; great-grandfather of Remy, Pepper and Ronin Folino and Rory Zbozny-Del Percio; brother of the late Alexander, Rose Migliorino, James and Margaret Del Percio; brother-in-law of Sr. Grace Diethorn, OSF and Claire Gigante; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mel made many friends and lasting memories as the owner of The Hut bar on Mt. Washington for 48 years. He enjoyed horse racing, bingo, and playing the lottery, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Visitation on Monday from 3-8pm at Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. 214 Virginia Avenue, Mt. Washington (412-381-2323). Funeral Mass in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish/St. Catherine of Siena Church, Beechview on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Interment Private.
