Margaret A. Sommerer

Age 95, of Duquesne Heights, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late William and Mary Fischerkeller of Bloomfield; loving mother of John (Kathleen) Sommerer, William (Barbara) Sommerer, Richard  Sommerer (partner, Cheryl Green), Maureen (Steven) Flaherty and the late Maryanne Byrnes (survived by Mark Byrnes); 16 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild; sister of John Fischerkeller and the late William, Carl and Thomas Fischerkeller; also survived by loving family and friends. Margaret, an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Steelers fan, was a registered nurse and retired from St. Francis Medical Center. Upon her retirement, she managed the Duquesne Incline Gift Shop. Per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Interment Private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
