Louis Mariano

Louis Mariano, 89, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.  Louis was a deeply devoted husband to his beloved wife, Josephine.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Guido and Maria DiStefano Mariano. Louis was also preceded in death by four dear sisters: Rosa (survived by, Henry) Colantoni, who passed away recently, and Rosina, Angela, and Antonietta, who passed away in childhood. Louis is the cherished father of Louis G. (Dana) Mariano, Dino (Lisa) Mariano, Ronald (Jacqueline) Mariano, Julie (Michael) Fuerst. Taking great pride in their accomplishments, he valued and enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren: Louis A., Emma, Gabriella, Annalisa, Angelo, Francesco, Angelina, Josephine, Antonella, Mila, Elise, and Luca. He is also survived by his dear sister Josephine (Harvey) Volzer. He will be remembered for his strength, work ethic, and compassion. Louis will be deeply missed for his warmth, humor, and caring presence that touched the lives of his family and all who knew him.
