Kimberly Ann Abate   (Neubauer)

Age 64, of Valencia, Pa formerly of Mt. Washington, passed peacefully with family by her side, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Kim will be missed tremendously by those who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Raymond Abate; her twin boys, Brian (Samantha) and Matt (Lauren Hunchar) Abate; sister, Wendy (Harry) Statewicz and brother, George Neubauer; and grandsons, Daniel and Benjamin Abate. Her many nieces and nephews will miss their Aunt Kim dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Neubauer, father, George Neubauer and brother, David Neubauer. Kim was a loving wife, mother and grammy. Kim owned and operated the Movie Stop in Mars for many years. She was an avid reader, an accomplished stained-glass artist, an aspiring cello player and had the best green thumb. At Kim’s request, a Celebration of Life will be held at Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Mt. Washington., (412-381-2323) on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 1-4 p.m., followed by a reception for family and friends. No flowers please.  www.bruscofalvo.com
