Age 70, formerly of Mt. Washington, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, after a brief illness with pancreatic cancer. Loving husband of Deborah Carr; father of Joe Zimecki (Rachele) and Raymond Gamble; grandfather of Rayanna and Gia Zimecki; brother of John R. Gamble (Rebecca) and the late Joann Bezak Gamble; son of the late John J. Gamble and Anna Lancia Gamble. He will be missed by many cousins and friends. A special thank you to his cousins, Donna and Sue Wielock while Joe was on his journey. Joe worked at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette for over 25 years. He served as Vice President for the Paper Handler Local Union 5. Joe loved politics and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Visitations on Monday from 2-8 pm at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.    214 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington (412 381-2323). Funeral Mass in Mary, Queen of Peace Parish/St. Mary of the Mount Church on Tuesday at 11:30 am. PLEASE MEET IN THE CHURCH.  Interment Private.
