Joseph Bonadio

Age 93, of Beechview, on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Son of the late Santo and Angelina (Cardamone) Bonadio. Brother of the late Anthony, Pasquale, Catherine Bonadio, Theresa Bonidie, and Mary Bonadio, Rose Berardi, Anne Bonidie, Viola Kovalcik and Domenic Bonadio. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends. Joe is a Lifetime Member of the Tri-State Professional Golf Association and was an instructor for the Junior Academy of Golf school.  He loved making music, and was a member of the Community Band South and the Pittsburgh Flute Academy. Joe served during WW II in the Merchant Marines and following WWII the US Army, participating in the U.S Army Jazz Band. In March of 2014, the City of Pittsburgh honored Joe with a proclamation marking March 4th as Joe Bonadio Family Day and in April of 2015 he was inducted into the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame for his 50 years of membership in the PGA.  Visitations will be on Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.  214 Virginia Ave. Mt.
