Joseph J. Bianchin, Jr.

Age 74, of Mount Washington, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, peacefully at home with his family. JJ was born to Joseph J. Bianchin Sr. and Louise (Selan) Bianchin in Upper St. Clair.  He was a graduate of Upper St. Clair high school. After a brief stint in college, JJ married Patricia Ann Tighe.  They have been married for 53 years. In his leisure time, he spent his early years as a coach within Mount Washington sports programs.  JJ was a dedicated supporter and fan of his children and grandchildren’s athletic and academic careers. He was an avid hunter, a passion which he passed onto his children.  Professionally JJ was a proud member and officer of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 95 for over forty years. JJ is survived by his beloved wife Patricia; son Joseph J. Bianchin III, his wife, Theresa and his daughters, Chayce and Paige; daughter-in-law Gina (Carnevale) Bianchin, spouse of deceased son Robert, their daughter Branygan Bianchin; son, Michael Bianchin, his wife Glenna and his children, Bella and Trajan; sister Marianne (Bianchin) Bateman and brother Bill Bianchin; also survived by loving family and friends. Visitation on Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., 214 Virginia Avenue, Mt. Washington (412 381-2323.)  A private family service and interment will be held on Friday.
