Age 90, of Mt. Washington, formerly of Bethel Park and Champion, Pa. on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. Ward; Loving father of Patricia Ward (John Bialek) and the late John P. Ward and grandfather of John R. and Michael Ward.  Mr. Ward was a 1944 graduate of South Hills High School and proudly served in the US Navy during WWII.  He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1949.  In 1986, he retired from J&L/LTV Steel after 36 years and moved to his mountain home in Champion to pursue his love of nature, gardening and geology.  Jack’s many interests included reading, painting, wood carving and traveling. In 1995, he visited the home of his relatives in Ireland.  He truly lived life to the fullest. Visitations on Tuesday 6-8 p.m.  at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. 214 Virginia Ave. Mt.
