Age 97, of Washington, PA, formerly of Duquesne Heights, on Monday, September 12, 2022. Jack was a retired City of Pittsburgh Firefighter (35 years), and served in the US Army during WWII (Purple Heart recipient). He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Flanagan), son, James C. and daughter, Linda C (Brown) and brothers, Charles, James, Matthew, and sister Cecelia Hahner. He is survived by his sons, John (Mary) and Christopher and daughter, Patricia Grilus, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, loving family and friends. Visitations on Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. 214 Virginia Ave. Mt. Washington (412-381-2323). Funeral Mass in Mary, Queen of Peace Parish/St. Mary of the Mount Church on Saturday at 10 a.m., immediately followed with Military Honors by the VFW Post 5111.
