Age 98, of Mt. Washington, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Daughter of the late Beniamino and Fiorentina Galasso. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 60 years, Telesfor (Ted) Kuchnicki; her beloved son, Joseph (Christine) Kuchnicki; and dear grandchildren, JT Kuchnicki and Rachel Kuchnicki; sister of William Galasso and the late Guy (Josette) Galasso; loved and survived by three generations of nieces and nephews and many relatives. After graduating from St. Justin High School, Edythe worked at Lawrence Paint Co. where she met the love of her life, Ted. She later worked as a server for Kelson Catering and Carnegie Mellon University’s catering department. She was an avid and accomplished duck pin bowler in her youth, and she loved her Pittsburgh sports teams. A doting mother, Nonni and Zia, no one ever left her home hungry.
