Diane C. Link

July 13, 1946 – February 25, 2024

Diane C. Link, daughter of the late Leo and Margaret Redlinger, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Diane was the cherished wife of 57 years to the late Martin J. Link, Sr, who passed away just five short months ago.  Diane leaves behind their legacy of strength, love, and devotion. She is survived by five children, Denise Link Burkert, Martin J. Link Jr., Brian (Tracy) Link, Nadine (Jeff) Richter, and Tammy (Anthony) Fazio. They will forever cherish the memories of a mother who, in her own unique way, left an indelible mark on their lives.

Diane is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren, who will always know her as Nunny. Her memory will live on in the stories that get shared with them for years to come. She is also survived by four brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was sadly preceded in death by two granddaughters, as well as one sister, and five brothers.

While Diane didn't engage in many hobbies, she discovered purpose and fulfillment in the simplicity of life's moments. She approached life with a certain innocence that was very endearing to those who loved her, and they were fortunate to witness the humor in many things that she would say. She showed the beauty of authenticity, and the importance of being your own person.

Throughout her life, Diane devoted herself to caring for her family, and eventually was given the task of taking care of her husband after he suffered a stroke at the young age of 40.  Even though she handled many up and downs, she managed to build a solid foundation from which her family would grow. Despite the geographical distances and the passage of years, her children remain bound by the love she instilled in their hearts from the very beginning

Link at Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, 214 Virginia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211 Phone: (412) 381-2323.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 2-8pm. A final visitation and a Blessing Service will be held at the same location on Saturday morning beginning at 10:30am.  Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.

We pray that our Mom will find eternal peace, and that she is reunited with our dad in Heaven, where pain and struggle are no longer present. As we mourn her departure, let us remember the moments of joy, love, and the unspoken connection that defined her life. May her memory live on in the hearts of her family.  Forever in our hearts, Mom, you will be dearly missed!  May your soul Rest in Peace.
