Age 70, of Mt. Washington, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Dennis proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a sergeant and later in life as the “official” Sheriff of Shiloh Street. He was the son of the late Martin and Catherine (Miller) Cunningham; proud and loving father of Ryan Cunningham and Kaylie (Chaz) Waugaman; cherished brother of the late Martin (Mary Ann), Michael, Barbara, and Thomas (Sharon). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children. Beloved by all who knew him, he will truly be missed here but welcomed into Heaven. As per Dennis’ wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Mt. Washington. (412-381-2323). A memorial church service in celebration of his life will be held at the Log Church (formerly Hilltop Baptist) on Thursday, May 25th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a lunch. Military taps will be held after the lunch for close family and friends at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
