Cosimo "Larry" Antonucci, III
Of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Cornerstone Hospice House, The Villages. He was 73. He and his wife Kristine moved to The Villages from Jefferson Hills, PA in 2017.
Larry was born in Charleroi, PA on June 22, 1951, to Beverly and Cosimo Antonucci, Jr. He grew up in the Mon Valley area of Pennsylvania. He married Kristine Badolato at their home in Jefferson Hills. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Antonucci.
Larry worked in the automotive industry, first as a salesman and then as a General Manager. In this job he met people from all walks of life and made many friends. Larry loved working with people and felt that a stranger was just a friend he hadn’t met yet. He was an athlete in his younger years; he played baseball and excelled at soccer. He was a scratch golfer and over the years played with many notable people. In The Villages Larry was known for his ready smile, sense of humor, and entertaining all the neighborhood’s grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kristine; stepchildren John Tarpey (Stephanie), Kelly Galindo (Ruben), and Stephen Tarpey (Amanda), and son Cosimo Antonucci, IV; grandchildren Alissa and Joshua Tarpey, Gianna and Mason Galindo; siblings Michael (Daria), Thomas, and Carol Leo (Gary); brother-in-law, Anthony Badolato (Penny); also survived by nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
Visitations on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, 214 Virginia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15211, Mt. Washington (412 381-2323), where a Blessing Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Burial will be private to the family.
