Billie Doreen Hill

Billie Doreen “Dodie” Hill, 71, of Pittsburgh, died December 27, 2019 at her residence.  Born September 29, 1948 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Edward Frank and Mary Katherine Williams.  Also preceded in death by sister Betty Ann Williams and brothers Edward Frank Williams, Jr., and Charles R. Wilson.  Survived by husband Joseph, whom she married September 15, 2015, brother George W. Wilson, Holiday, FL; sister Jacquelyn, Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law Josephine Williams, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Dodie was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and she loved working with geriatric patients and young children.  Her favorite pastimes were attending church, reading her Bible, watching classic movies and reading a good crime novel.  She was an excellent cook and would frequently share her meals with the needy.  Dodie was such a kind hearted soul.  Friends will be received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM on Saturday.  Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.  (ptbmortuary.com)
