Anthony Orlando Obituary

 Anthony L. Orlando

On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, Anthony (Tony) Orlando, 93, lifelong resident of Mt. Washington, passed away in the comfort of his home. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nellie Garforth Orlando; his daughters Leslie Kress and Lisa Orlando, who will forever miss their Father, the best Dad and friend ever; and his one and only granddaughter, Lindsay Kress, who he cherished and who she absolutely adored. Preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Rose Orlando, sisters Florence Palumbo and Eleanor (Rocco) DeFilippo. Also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tracey Mozekyo, an angel sent to us from God, who was his caregiver for the past two years. Due to the help of Tracey, the most loving, caring, compassionate, dedicated woman we have ever known, Tony was able to remain at home, where he was most comfortable, with his loved ones until his passing. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Mary of the Mount on Friday, December 11, 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was no visitation and interment was private to immediate family. Arrangements entrusted to the Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.  214 Virginia Ave., Mt Washington (412-381-2323). www.bruscofalvo.com
