Alice Jean Voigt
Age 56, of Mt. Washington, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, entered eternal life after a hard-fought battle with colon cancer. Alice was the daughter of Neil and the late Lois (Bauer) Voigt; Sister of Beverly, Doreen Buechel (Rick), Ken, Susan Voigt Miskanic, Deanne (Joyce Wilhelm), Karla, Elaine Voigt Boyle (Jody) and the late Doug Voigt (survived by, Maureen); Also survived and beloved by eight nieces and nephews, and a grand-niece and grand-nephew; She will be sadly missed by her best friend and caretaker Nancy Baumgartner; Dear friend of Rosie Mills. As a nationally known accessibility specialist, Alice was a strong advocate for people with disabilities and would freely point out any neglected areas in need of improvement. Alice was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, as well as for her wit and her crystal-clear singing voice.
