Alan C. Young

Age 70, of Mt. Washington, on Monday, January 8, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Nancy; loving father of Alyssa, Garrett and the late Megan; devoted pap of Caitlin and Aidan; loving companion of Patty; brother of Chuck (the late Debbie); and son of the late Charles and Cookie Young. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends.  Alan retired from the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit as a School Psychologist and Administrator. He was a Vietnam Veteran, a member of VFW Post 5111, Grandview Lions Club and an active member of various Mt. Washington Social Clubs. Visitations on Thursday 5-8 & Friday 2-8 p.m. at the Brusco - Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.  214 Virginia Ave. Mt. Washington (412 381-2323). Family and friends are invited to meet for the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Mount Church on Saturday at 10 a.m., immediately followed by Military Honors by VFW Post 5111.
